Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (“CBCS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a third-party claims administrator (TPA) that provides workers’ compensation, liability, and related claims management services. Personal information that CBCS receives and processes in the course of administering claims on behalf of our clients is handled in accordance with our agreements with those clients and applicable law; this notice addresses information collected through the Site.

Information you provide. When you contact us, request information, submit a form, or access a claims or payment portal, we may collect your name, employer or business, email address, phone number, and details related to your inquiry or claim.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect device and usage information through cookies and similar technologies, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs.
Portal access. Access to our claims portal (ProClaim) and payment portal may require credentials. Information submitted through those portals is used to administer claims and process transactions.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries; administer and process claims; operate our claims and payment portals; provide, secure, and improve the Site and our services; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Much of the personal information CBCS processes is handled as a service provider on behalf of our clients and in connection with workers’ compensation and other claims, which may be subject to separate legal frameworks. Requests concerning claims information may be referred to the applicable client or handled in accordance with those frameworks.

Our Site and services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
